Waffle the Dragon

Waffle was born into a massive dragon family. Although her siblings kept growing in size as they aged, Waffle stayed the same height! She couldn't understand why she was the only dragon in her family that didn't grow.

One day, a roaring thunderstorm destroyed the shelter that Waffle and her family were staying in. They flew around frantically, trying to find a place where they could take cover from the storm. One of Waffle's siblings found a safe, dry area in an abandoned mine, but a boulder was blocking the entrance. They investigated and found a small gap between the entrance of the mine and the boulder, and realized Waffle would be able to fit through it. Waffle squeezed through the opening, and was able to push the boulder out of the way.

Because of Waffle, her family was able to seek shelter and stay safe during the storm. Everyone praised her for saving the day, and Waffle knew even though she was different from everyone else in her family, she was able to use that to her benefit and aid other dragons in need of her help.
